Dariusz Mioduski re-elected to the ECA management board

Dariusz Mioduski, the owner and president of Legia Warsaw, has been re-elected as the Vice President of the European Club Association (ECA), the largest organization of football clubs in Europe. As the president for the next cadency will serve Andrea Agnelli. The ECA represents clubs in UEFA matters, including key topics for the future of football about the format of European cups in next years.

The new term will last four years, until 2023. Dariusz Mioduski for the second time will be the Vice-President of the ECA on behalf of Sub-Division 3, representing clubs from Austria, Greece, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Scotland, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Israel, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia and Poland, as well as will be a member on behalf of ECA of the Management Board of UEFA Club Competitions Commitee - a company responsible for business management UEFA club competition site. The ECA board also includes Andrea Agnelli (Juventus FC), Pedro Lopez Jimenez (Real Madrit), Edvin van der Sar (Ajax) and Aki Riihilahti (HJK Helsinki).

 

 

ECA and UEFA are the two most important organizations in European football. At the time of its establishment in 2008 ECA had 137 clubs, and today it has already 246 clubs. The organization is constantly evolving, increasing the role of clubs in managing UEFA's European club competitions. ECA is very much involved, among others in the organization and reform of UEFA club competitions.
