On March 30 and 31 in Stockholm a General Assembly of the member clubs of European Club Association was held. Among them was Legia Warsaw, whose representatives - including Dariusz Mioduski, chairman of the Supervisory Board and majority shareholder - participated in the work group, Subdivision 3 meeting and the plenary session.
Within the ECA activities, the Legia representatives for the last couple of months have been the leaders of a special team which deal with analysing and making solutions concerning the possible changes for European club competitions in the next game cycle from 2018 to 2021. Preparing for the ECA congress presentation, the club representatives of the work group met earlier in March in Warsaw.

Among the most topical changes announced during the assembly by the ECA Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, ECA General Secretary Michele Centenaro, FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke and UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino were those concerning:

- the distribution of the revenue from the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League among the European leagues and clubs meaning more resources for all,
- the significant increase of compensation for the clubs for the players' participation in FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia and FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, as well as in UEFA Euro 2016 in France and UEFA Euro 2020,
- the signing of the so called Memorandum of Understanding between ECA and UEFA which strengthens the clubs' position within the UEFA structures,
- introducing two representatives of European clubs to the UEFA Executive Committee until 2016,
- creating the Department of Professional Football within FIFA, which results in FIFA's necessity to get permission from European clubs' representatives when making key decisions.

'We consequently develop our activities within the European football structures. The changes announced in Stockholm and the scope of the current work done with the ECA in cooperation with FIFA, UEFA and other organisations show how the role and meaning of well-managed clubs increase. The activity in this circle is one of the main phillars of the long-term strategy for the Legia Warsaw progress,' said Dariusz Mioduski.

At the assembly the ECA Club Management Guide was also introduced. Legia Warsaw was one of the clubs visited during the guide's creation, and referred to as far as the best practises were concerned.

In May 2015 the Marshall Józef Piłsudski's Municipal Stadium of Legia Warsaw will host the ECA workshop on the clubs' influence on the management and development of domestic competitions.

The next General Assembly of all the ECA members is planned for September, when the elections for 15 members of ECA Management Board will be held.
