Legia Warsaw have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Daniel Chima Chukwu on a 3,5-year deal! Welcome, Daniel!

Chukwu was born on April 4, 1991 in Kano (Nigeria), but started his professional football career in Norway, where he played for FK Lyn and Molde FK. He is well-known to the supporters of Legia Warsaw, as in the summer of 2013 our team faced Molde in the UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round. Chukwu scored one goal and was one of the best players on the pitch in the tie.

"I will never forget that game in Warsaw, because in the stadium there was the biggest crowd I'd have ever played in my career. The fans and the incredible atmosphere they produce is one of the main reasons I signed for Legia," said Chukwu after putting pen to paper on a 3,5-year deal.

Two years ago Chukwu left Molde to join Chinese SH Shenxin. Last season, he scored 11 goals for his team in 22 appearances, and now, when his contract with SH ran out, he's coming back to Europe, to play for Legia. The striker is going to play with numer 27 on his back.

Welcome, Daniel!
