After Romeo Jozak's arrival the Legionaries played three important matches withing seven days. How did the team do in the last week?

After the international break the Legionnaries lost 1-2 to Śląsk Wrocław, showing poor performance. This result decided about Jacek Magiera's dismissal. The new head coach of Legia Warsaw came four days later - Romeo Jozak from Croatia. He signed a deal until the end of the season, with an option of a two-year extension. Legionaries played against Cracovia only a couple of days after his arrival so nobody expected anything special in this match. Legia won 1-0 thanks to late goal from Thibault Moulin.

The next game was on Thursday 21 September against Ruch Zdzieszowice in the last 16 of Polish Cup. The rival wasn't demanding and Romeo Jozak treated this game as a test. He made nine changes in the line-up and gave a chance to Jarosław Niezgoda, Sebastian Szymański, Łukasz Moneta and many others. Legia didn't play well but outclassed Ruch by winning 4-0. In the quaterfinal of the Polish Cup we will play against Bytovia Bytów.

Last Sunday Jozak's players had a difficult match against Jagiellonia in LOTTO Ekstraklasa matchday 10. It was a close game, both teams were concentrated on the defence, but disapointely Jagiellonia won 1-0. After ten games Legia has 16 points and is currently 6th in the table.
