Only one step left

In the penultimate matchday of LOTTO Ekstraklasa Legia Warsaw defeated Korona Kielce 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Dominik Nagy. With one game left, the Legionnaires are top of the league, with a two-point advantage.

The situation in the Polish league ahead of the last matchday is stunning. Legia Warsaw lead the table, two points ahead of Jagiellonia Białystok, Lech Poznań, and Lechia Gdańsk, so all four teams still have a chance to win the championship.

In the last matchday, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 4, Legia Warsaw take on Lechia Gdańsk at home, and Lech Poznań travel to Jagiellonia Białystok.

One thing's for sure - Legia have a 77% chance of winning the championship, and is the only team which have everything in their hands. Should Legia defeat Lechia, we will be champions, without having to look at the result in the Jagiellonia vs Lech fixture.
