Poland national team player joins Legia!

Mączyński was born in Kraków on May 23, 1987, started playing football in Wisła, and that's where he's coming from to Legia. He gained popularity while playing in Górnik Zabrze, developing his skills under coach Adam Nawałka between 2011 and 2013. When Nawałka was appointed Poland national team coach in 2013, he immediately started calling up Mączyński to the squad, and the new Legionnaire is now a first-choice player for Poland.
Mączyński have played 24 games for the national team, in which he scored one goal and had three assists. He was part of the team which qualified for the EURO 2016 in France, where he played four games in Poland' successful campaign, ending in a quarter-final defeat in penalty shootout to Portugal, who then won the tournament. Mączyński's last game for Poland came on June 10, in the World Cup qualifier against Romania, in which he amazed fans with incredible performance full of great passes.
Aside from Wisła Kraków and Górnik Zabrze, Mączyński also played for ŁKS Łódź in 2009, and then between 2010 and 2011 (43 games, four goals, four assists), and Beijing Rehne - a side from Chinese premier league in the 2014-15 season. Mączyński was the team's captain, played 38 games, scored four goals and had four assists.
