Legia chairman Dariusz Mioduski becomes club’s sole owner after finalising takeover.

Legia Warszawa’s majority owner Dariusz Mioduski completed buyout of minority shareholders which gives him 100 percent ownership of the club.

At the same time, Mioduski became club’s new President to increase his role in a day to day management of the iconic brand of Polish football. Legia recently made its mark drawing 3-3 in an inspiring game against Real Madrid and beating Sporting Club de Portugal in this season’s UEFA Champions’ League group stage.

During a meeting with the press Mioduski said: “Based on over 100 years of our history and tradition, we will continue our work to develop Legia into one of elite European Clubs. We have solid foundations in place, but we still see a lot of potential in all aspects of our operations. I’m confident that together with a great team on and off the pitch, we will continue achieving ambitious high goals, always supported by millions of our fantastic fans.”


Mioduski, a highly successful businessman and entrepreneur is also a member of the Executive Board of European Club Association.
