In the period leading up to Christmas all purchases made on the official Legia Warsaw online store will be done under a new layout!

- Those responsible for the new look were the internet industry leaders: Conversion and SalesTube. Our combined work is the most advanced shopping platform in Poland, whose functionality has been extremely adapted to the needs and expectations of the fans of Legia Warsaw - said Jakub Szmielewicz, Vice-President of Legia Warsaw.

Legia Warsaw is the clear leader within the Polish Sports Market in the category of revenue from the sale of products bearing the club crest. Evidence of sustainable development in this area is not only the increase in the number of stores within prestigious and attractive locations (a Legia FanStore has been opened last season in the Frederic Chopin Airport and in the shopping center M1 Marki) or having recently premiered another collection of lifestyle "Warsaw", but also carefully following trends in online sales. The previous edition of our online store was revolutionary for the Polish Football Merchandising Market - said Szumielewicz - When we were working on a new store we were guided by the same goals, that is, to simplify and shorten purchases to a few clicks and increase the responsiveness of the site so that regardless of the device used by our fans, stationary or mobile, it remains clear and user-friendly.

 

This is another project for Legia carried out by the organisation Group One. - The website was not only improved in terms of usability and intuitive navigation, but is now displayed within a new layout. To create the store the system CS-Cart was used, which SalesTube is an official distributor of - said Sylwia Chmielewska-Fryze, COO SalesTube (Group One).

 

During the planning and implementation of the new Legia Warsaw online store the newest solutions and trends in the world of eCommerce were used. Currently clients of all online stores expect that the portals will be usable on every device. Our aim was to guarantee the fans of Legia a consistent shopping experience among different channels, online and offline – said Natalia Kniaż, Conversion Rate Optimiser from the company Conversion – Using our experience, resulting from our A/B tests, we worked out a solution, which puts the newly opened shop at the forefront of European football clubs.

 

In the development of Legia Warsaw’s new online store, the observations and remarks of the fans were considered – It is the users of our online store that are our most valued reviewers, we rely heavily on their opinion – said Szumielewicz – The turnover from our online store is constantly growing and sales results are getting better, an ever wider and varied assortment of products is the best proof that we are moving in the right direction. Still, we want to continue developing. For the purpose of our new platform we have made hundreds of pictures of our products, with each of which being accurately and comprehensively described. Our most important task was to make sure our fans feel comfortable with the new online store and that they’d be happy with their purchases. I am convinced that we have achieved this.
