ECA conference was held at Legia
Representatives of 25 clubs participated in the conference, including members of ECA management board, Andrea Agnelli (Juventus) and Theodoros Giannikos (Olympiacos). Moreover, the event was attended by the UEFA representatives. Poland was represented by Legia Warszawa, Lech Poznań and Wisła Kraków.
During the conference specific situations and management models in particular clubs were discussed. One of the main presentations was made by Legia and Ekstraklasa, represented by Tomasz Zahorski (Proxy of the Management Board for International Matters and Sports Administration) and Marcin Animucki (Vice president of Ekstraklasa) respectively. The presentation discussed the new model of competition introduced by Ekstraklasa (ESA 37) and general characteristics of Polish clubs' relations with Ekstraklasa and the Polish Football Association, best practises of their cooperation and challenges laying ahead of them. Moreover, representatives of Celtic, Galatasaray and UEFA spoke, too.
'We're glad to welcome a football branch event at our stadium, after many business and conference events. The ECA cooperation is very important to us and we systematically expand it,' said Tomasz Zahorski.
The conference held at our stadium was first of many to come, which will be organised regularly to optimise clubs' activities within management and communication at the local level.
