On Friday, October 31, the Mayor of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz visited our stadium to meet with the Club's management to discuss the mutual relations and the possibility of cooperation between the Capital City of Warsaw and Legia.
Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz was welcomed the the delegation our the Club's management around 5 PM and started her tour with the visit to the Legia Warsaw Museum where she learned about our Club's history and tradition.

In the Central Lounge at Pepsi Arena, from where the City representatives watch our football matches, the Mayor was presented with an exhbition of photographs which potrayed the recent most important and effective events from the Club's life. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz also met with our young players from Academy and the representatives of all other Legia sports.

The last part of Mayor's visit was a presentation of changes that the Club have made during the last year and the possibilities which Legia have to promote the City of Warsaw. The issues concerning the stadium infrastructure were discussed and then the Club's owners and Management Board presented their plan for new relations with the City.

'It's no secret that in the last couple of years we talked to little to the Mayor. The dialogue which we started today filled us with cautious optimism. To us Warsaw equals Legia and Legia equals Warsaw. We want to give the City the best we've got but we also expect to be an equal partner in many issues,' said the Club's president Bogusław Leśnodorski.
