Finally! Top of the league!

In matchday 34 of Polish LOTTO Ekstraklasa Legia Warsaw beat Lech Poznań 2-0 thanks to goals from Vadis Odjidja Ofoe and Michał Kucharczyk. The Legionnaires advanced to the 1st position in the league table, and are two points ahead of Jagiellonia, Lech, and Lechia!

On Wednesday, Jagiellonia Białystok lost 0-4 to Lechia Gdańsk, and Legia Warsaw beat Lech Poznań 2-0. The results finally got Legia to the top of the league. The Legionnaires are defending the championship title, and they're now in a comfortable position ahead of three final games of the season.

 

On Sunday, Jacek Magiera's men are travelling to Białystok to face Jagiellonia in yet another crucial match.
