Goodbye, Europe

Author: Kacper Ruszczak
Legia Warsaw lost the second leg of UEFA Europa League round of 32 and were therefore eliminated from the competition.

One goal decided the fate of Legia vs Ajax tie in the UEFA Europa League round of 32. After the 0-0 draw in Warsaw in the first leg, everything was possible in the rematch. The game was close, both teams had their chances, but the only goal of the evening - and, subsequently, the only goal of the tie - came from Nick Viergever in the 49th minute of the match in Amsterdam. Legia were then eliminated from the UEL round of 32 by Ajax for the second time - two years ago we lost 0-4 on aggregate.

After getting eliminated from the competition, Legia are now playing in LOTTO Ekstraklasa, only, with the aim to win the league championship for the second consecutive year.
