Górnik 1-1 Legia

Author: Jakub Mieżejewski
Legia drew with Górnik Zabrze in the first leg of Polish Cup semifinal after a goal from Marko Vesović. It wasn't satisfying result because the Legionnaries was a better team in this game.

After a bad performance in the two league games againt Wisła and Arka, Romeo Jozak's players had to show their passion and commitment today. For the very first minutes Legia played offensive football which led to many goalscoring opportunities. After the first half the team should lead with two or three goals. Marko Vesović opened the game after team's good action.

It seemed that Legia was on a way to score more goals, but Łukasz Kurzawa equalized after perfect free-kick. At the end of the game both teams had opportunities to win but they were ineffective. In the second leg, Legia will take on Górnik, at home on Wednesday, April 18th, at 8.30 PM CET.
