Jarosław Niezgoda will play for Legia Warsaw!
Niezgoda was trained by Wisła Puława - a club where he spent all of his footballing career. His first appearances for the second league side were in the 2012/2013 season, and he has also played in a few Polish Cup matches. In the current season he has only missed one match - in 18 games he has scored 9 goals and thanks to him, Wisła is preparing for promotion to the First Division.
On Friday, Niezgoda passed medical tests in the ENEL-SPORT clinic, supervised by physiotherapist Marcin Bator. After receiving the positive results, he signed the contract with Legia Warsaw. The contract is valid until the 30th of June 2020.
- Jarek is an intelligent footballer, characterised with a reasonable pace. It’s a player who scores goals with his left foot, right foot, and his head. He knows how to connect with better placed colleagues. Looking at his last half-year at Wisła, you have to notice that he himself has attained many points for his side. It really captivated me. You can say that he’s the silent hero from Puława - said Michał Żewłakow, Sports Director of Legia Warsaw.
What targets has the player set himself? - I’ve not even attended my first training session yet, so I don’t want to jump forward. Obviously I want to debut as fast as I can. Coming to Legia, I want to develop myself and have as many appearances in the first team as I can. That’s why I’m here - said Jarosław Niezgoda in a conversation with legia.com
