Legia signed Domagoj Antolić

Legia Warsaw confirms the signing of midfielder Domagoj Antolć from Dinamo Zagreb. Croatian natonal team player positively passed medical and put pen to paper on a three-year deal. In the team of the Polish champion he will play with the number 7.

Antolić was born on June 30, 1990 in Zagreb. The midfielder is 27 years old and he is a six-times Croatian champion and a two-times Croatian Cup winner. He is one of the most titled and experienced players from this country. During his club career Antolić played in 238 matches in which he scored 23 goals. The midfielder participated twice in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. Throught his career, he was conected with home town's clubs, Lokomotiva and Dinamo.


"I played in Croatia for 10 years and I would like to try something new. I chose Legia because it is a club with a lot of fans and huge ambitions. I know coach Jozak very well, who was Dinamo's sports director. He's fully professionalist. I heard that Legia is a club fighting for the highest goals. I am prepared for it" said Antolić after the transfer. 


"Domagoj Antolić is an extremely experienced and responsible player who will be an important reinforcement of our center line. He has a huge field intelligence, regardless of pressure and the level of competition. For a long time he was the captain of the team regularly appearing in European competitions and showed that he has all the qualities of the footballer that we need in Legia" said coach Romeo Jozak.


Domagoj Antolić will travel with Legia to a training camp in Florida from 10 to 20 January.
