LOTTO Ekstraklasa: Exciting Finish

Author: Kacper Ruszczak Photo: Mateusz Kostrzewa
Legia Warsaw defeated Pogoń Szczecin away 2-0 (10th away victory in a row!), and are now only one point behind table-toppers Jagiellonia Białystok.

With five games left to be played, everything is possible in the title race, as the point differences between first four teams are minimal. Jagiellonia and Lech both have 34 points, while Legia and Lechia are only a point behind them. All four teams are yet to face each other, which makes them independent - should any of them win last five games, they'll be champions.

In the next matchday, Legia will take on Bruk-Bet Termalica at home on Sunday, May 14, at 6 PM CET. The Legionnaires will have to play without Thibault Moulin who will be suspended for getting the fourth yellow card in the season.
