One step closer to the title!

Legia Warsaw won 3-2 against Wisła Płock in the LOTTO Ekstraklasa matchday 35. Legia is still on the first place in the league just two games before the end of the season.

This win could be crucial in the battle for the title. The Legionnaires led with two goals but in the five minutes Wisla scored twice and Maurcio got a red card. In the case of the draw the situation of the team would be complicated but thanks to the goal from Cafu after counterattack Legia won 3-2.

 

"It was a very difficult and incredibly exciting match. Congratulations to the players and the entire training staff. We showed character and courage. Win the game in this circumstances is a big thing. We treat every meeting as the final, today we showed it" said Dean Klafurić after postmatch conference.
