Salvador Agra signed with the Polish Champion a two-and-a-half year contract with an option to extend for 12 months. Playing as winger or striker, the 27-year-old Portuguese comes to Legia from SL Benfica. Agra was a youth Portuguese international and played also in LaLiga and Serie A. In Legia he will wear a shirt with number 23.

Salvador Agra plays on the right wing as well as in the middle of the attack. His statistics in the Portuguese league are 157 matches and 27 goals. For the last six months the fast player was loaned from Benfica to Cadiz FC playing in LaLiga 2. In the Spanish league he played before for Betis and in Serie A for AC Siena.

- The club is a big brand and it's very well organized. I have heard a lot about Legia, the club is known in the world and in Europe, because of successes, history, but also great fans. I am very happy I became Legia player. Everything I need, I received here, in Warsaw. I want to fight for the titles and qualify to the European cups. I do everything to give Legia fans satisfaction with my play - says Salvador Agra.

The experience from three strong European leagues and regular calls for the youth national team of Portugal (a total of 19 matches) are the advantages of the new player of the Polish Champion. Agra - next to Cafu, André Martins and Luisa Rocha contracted on Saturday - is the fourth Portuguese in the Warsaw team.

Salvador Agra, who signed the contract until June 30, 2021 with the option of extension, will take part in the first winter camp of Legia Warsaw in Portugal (7-18 January).
