Illia Shkuryn a Legia Warsaw player

25-year-old Illia Shkuryn, one of PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa's most successful strikers in the last two seasons, has signed a three-year contract with Legia Warsaw.

Since the start of the 2023/24 season, Shkuryn has played 53 games in which he scored 21 goals. During this period, he was the third top scorer of the entire league and a key player for Stal Mielec, mainly responsible for its offensive potential.

Poland is the fifth country in Shkurin's career. Apart from Belarus (he was top scorer there as a 20-year-old playing for Eniergietyk-BDU Minsk), he has played for teams competing for the highest accolades in their leagues - CSKA Moscow, Dynamo Kyiv, with whom he played twice in the UEFA Champions League, and Israel's Hapolel Petah Tikva (14 goals in 30 games).
