Ryoya Morishita - thank you!

After a year and a half at Łazienkowska, the Japanese national is leaving Legia Warsaw. The club and the team thank ‘Mori’ for his contribution to their joint successes and wish him luck in his future career.

Ryoya Morishita won two trophies with Legia Warsaw - the Polish Cup and the Polish Super Cup. He also played with the club in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Conference League. Last season, he was one of the key players of the Varsovian team. He scored 14 goals and made 14 assists, leading the Canadian classification. He was voted the best player of the Fortuna Polish Cup final, and thanks to his good performances at Legia, he returned to the national team, where he scored his debut goal.

The Japanese player joined the Varsovian team at the beginning of January 2024. He made his debut in the Legia jersey in a match against Ruch Chorzów. Since then, he has played 78 matches for Legia, scoring fifteen goals and making sixteen assists.

The 28-year-old's new club will be the English Blackburn Rovers.
